Before calling a school or council, think about the purpose of your location. It will change depending on the type of program you are running.

      Centre or Holiday Programs - can include primary or high schools, universities, council parks or reserves, sporting fields or indoor facilities.
    •   School Program - onsite at the primary schools.

When making your initial telephone calls there are key actions to perform:

    1.  Research the school/ground.
    2.  Be confident, positive, friendly and professional.
    3.  Know all about Grasshopper Soccer.
    4.  Anticipate and prepare for questions about Grasshopper Soccer.
    5.  Use the Registrars/Secretary's name.
    6.  Understand the registrar is a key contact with any school.
    7.  Principal is main target, but assistant principal or PE teacher remains a good option.
    8.  Always confirm a meeting time.
